Emerson made me very annoyed sometimes but her character development in the end gave her some redeeming qualities. The book ended on a cliff hanger and since I’m excited to see what happens next and want to read about it that’s why I gave it 4 stars. I wouldn’t label this book as a romance book, it’s a love story for ones self and their chosen family."
