"This book surpassed my expectations and i could write a whole novel on my reasons for enjoying it. The main characters were both strong and complemented each other well. Side characters were well developed and crucial to the story. The relationship between the leads was adorable and although their obliviousness had me facepalming, there were moments that had me grinning ear to ear. The plot was well written, and I never felt bored. There were moments with violence, banter, conflict, etc. If you are big on historical accuracy, please be aware that they do refer to some characters as Lady {First Name}, but I don’t think it took away from the plot and I personally didn’t have any problem with it. Overall, I related a lot to the mc and as such, understood why she was drawn to her love interest. This book kept me up past reasonable hour, but it was so worth it. 10/10 plot, character development, and ending. Would 100% recommend "
