"Such a brain, magical book. My eight year old and I read it together before we saw the movie. Absolutely loved it, and it is bound to be a childhood classic."

"It's a nice kids movie but I don't understand the hype. It's pretty predictable with some paint by numbers characters. 6.5 out of 10 "

""Our Robot." The author gifts her to us. This story is about being kind and living life to the fullest. Staying true and good through the hate. The illustrations were beautiful and straightforward and brought so many feelings in with the words.
We get to watch Roz and Brightbill learn and grow together. Roz the outsider win the crowd. It is a good example of child-like wonder with mountains of wisdom throughout. "

"Short chapters. Easy read. I like the concept of a story about a robot having to survive in the wild and even acting the part of a mother. There is something soothing about the detached and natural way the cycle of life and death is incorporated into the book."

"Even though it's a kids book, I'm still giving it a 4. Great way for middle school aged kids to discuss topics like death, family, and interdependence."

"A strange but fun children's book that left me wanting to read the second in the series just to see where it goes ... and why!"
