""Welcome to Academy Absconditi, November, where the scheming never stops, and where someone is always trying to push you off a ledge."<br/><br/>I loved Killing November! This book is about November, who winds up at a boarding school for children of strategists (spies, assassins, etc.) mid-semester. I will pretty much always be hooked in by a boarding school story, and this one did not disappoint. <br/><br/>My only complaint was the name stuff - there's a lot having to do with the root origins of names, and it got old after a while. I kept hoping it would fade out, but no, it continued through the entire book.<br/><br/>I loved figuring out the mysteries of what was going on in this book, and I liked the characters, too. It was left open-ended for the story to continue, and I'm looking forward to reading more."

""Coming to this school was like starting a wildfire that immediately raged out of control. Not to mention that I remind people of the past in the worst possible ways." Mystery novels ususally take me out of my comfort zone & I like how this one surprised me. Unexpectedly & thankfully there was no Chosen One trope;I liked how the MC was forced out of her comfoet zone, discovered & conquered new limits, and saw herself in a whole new light with each chapter. The characters overall were nothing short of enigmatic. November herself was very relatable, I experienced her perspective on a personal level. This was a thrilling mission & I enjoyed it immensely💖🖤💖"
