"A very quick and immersive read, this is perfect for anyone interested in a YA thriller. It’s not so complex that you get lost in it, but not so simple that it’s boring. Includes some cliche YA tropes that I’ve as a reader, outgrown, but it doesn’t take away from the story’s ability to entertain. Teens with unnatural-natural abilities mixed with an escalating offender makes for a surprisingly gravitating story. "
"If you’re a fan of Criminal Minds or even NCIS, this is your book series! It is a very interesting take on teen crime books much like Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys, only darker and more real. In this series you don’t deal with thieves or pick pockets, no, you deal with serial killers and copy cats. This first installment is very well written and very well played out. It’s safe to say that I’ve read it more than once, no, more than five times at least. She does a good job of setting the stage for the suspect and we even see their point of view form time to time. I highly recommend this book if you ever want to step out of the line of fantasy for something more real and darker. It will leave you speechless!"
