"3 peppers. I liked this book a lot more than I thought I would. I went into this thinking it would be a fun **** book (which it was) but it was so much more than that. It delved into mental health. It was tragic. It was beautiful. I fell in love with the characters and the setting. It had mystery and romance and everything I could want. It was so good and so sad all at the same time. Wynn first meets Liam after a suicide attempt and ending up in the hospital. She later finds herself as his roommate in an unorthodox mental facility. Wynn feels too much while Liam struggles to feel even an ounce of emotion and is addicted to self harm, always chasing that feeling. She meets Lanston, Liam’s best friend, and the trio grow, heal, and learn together. Although Lanston is in love with Wynn, he knows Liam and Wynn are in love and lets them be happy. At the same time, Wynn tries to figure out who Liam’s ex roommate is and also investigates some people who went missing from the facility a while ago. She finds that Crosby, Liam’s old roommate killed the missing people and is hunting Liam. Crosby is actually Liam’s brother, but is basically an alter ego created after a car accident killed their older brother and Crosby never forgave Liam. Liam tells Wynn and Lanston to leave cuz it’s not their fight but they don’t. Crosby finds Wynn and Lanston and Lanston sacrifices himself for her. I cried. I loved Lanston. Wynn and Liam rebuilt the facility since Crosby burnt it down and live out a happy life together "
