A REESE'S BOOK CLUB PICK from the author of the GEEK GIRL series, now on NETFLIX! "Fascinating...witty...self-deprecating...We meet Cassandra on the worst day of her life. She's getting fired, her boyfriend dumps her, and her roommates hate her. On that same day, she discovers she has the power to go back in time. You'd think you would know how this book is going to end, but it really surprised me. There's a twist at the end that I did not see coming!" —Reese Witherspoon (Reese’s Book Club June ’23 Pick) If you had the power to change the past…where would you start?Cassandra Penelope Dankworth is a creature of habit. She likes what she likes (museums, jumpsuits, her boyfriend, Will) and strongly dislikes what she doesn't (mess, change, her boss drinking out of her mug). Her life runs in a pleasing, predictable order…until now. She's just been dumped. She's just been fired. Her local café has run out of banana muffins. Then, something truly unexpected happens: Cassie discovers she can go back and change the past. One small rewind at a time, Cassie attempts to fix the life she accidentally obliterated, but soon she'll discover she's trying to fix all the wrong things.“A great read-alike for The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion, Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore, and The Boys by Katie Hafner.” —Booklist (STARRED)

"Beautiful audiobook about an autistic woman living a very rigid life when she finds out she can travel back in time. She thinks she can fix her work and love problems but ends up finding out so much more about herself in the meantime. Such a nuanced book and more than a typical time traveling, I want to get the guy kind of story."
"I randomly chose this audio book and it was good, some laugh out loud moments, but it being in the "science fiction" section left me expecting more from it.
It's sort of romantic, but more fantasy than science fiction.
I like the greek mythology running through it, and the autistic aspects.
Overall, the "big reveal" near the end could have been more emotional, but I liked it and wouldn't mind a sequel ."

"I literally just finished this book so my emotions are still very up in the air. When I read the final page I was initially a bit upset. But reflecting on it while I type this, I think I’m only upset because it’s over. It was such a well told story. The characters were beautiful and messy and imperfect. I laughed and cried and got frustrated. Endings are just lies after all, so the story will continue. "
"That was an incredibly witty, funny, and fun book to listen to. I loved the Greek mythology references and humor used throughout the book. I wish I could say that all the characters were likable. But Cassandra’s flatmate’s boyfriend was a sleaze.
Cassandra was hilarious. I love how she is so relatable in the sense she hates public settings and making a bigger deal of certain events than they need to be. Her interactions with people always made me smile or laugh out loud. I loved the book!"
"⭐️⭐️⭐️.5-> ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75, I can’t decide. I did overall enjoy the book, but it took me a while to get to that point. I started the book pretty bored. The main character is quirky, and I did enjoy things from her perspective. Part of the book never seem to make sense to me tho, like either I am missing something or it just never came up and leaves me with questions."
"Be prepared to go through Greek Mythology PTSD. Wanted so desperately to love it but there is just too much going on."
