erin_hinkes shared a tip "I do not like James and Salone as a couple. I didn't like them together in the first book, either. I actually liked Salone less in this book than I did in The Program. Possibly because Dallas is an absolute gem. The book should have just been from her view. I did not care for the way Cass was written out of the story. At one point I became totally detached because it turned into one of those stories where no one gets out alive. But if any of the next books are about Dallas, pre or post Program, I am here for it."
