The second book in the blockbuster phenomenon The Maze Runner series now features chapters from The Fever Code, the highly-anticipated conclusion to the MAZE RUNNER SERIES—the novel that finally reveals how the maze was built! Thomas was sure that escape from the Maze would mean freedom for him and the Gladers. But WICKED isn’t done yet. Phase Two has just begun. The Gladers have two weeks to cross through the Scorch—the most burned-out section of the world. And WICKED has made sure to adjust the variables and stack the odds against them. Friendships will be tested. Loyalties will be broken. All bets are off. There are others now. Their survival depends on the Gladers’ destruction—and they’re determined to survive. The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials are now major motion pictures featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O’Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. The third movie, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, will hit screens in 2018. Also look for James Dashner’s edge-of-your-seat MORTALITY DOCTRINE series! "Exceptional book! Better than the first! Kept me intrigued the whole time and was an excellent page turner! Loved the new characters and plot! The author perfects the balance of information- giving us enough to form questions and predictions, but leaving us with so many more to stay intrigued and ready for the next book! Well done!! Couldn’t have asked for a better second book in this Maze Runner Trilogy!"
"Its an okay book, I did have a couple problems with it overall. Almost every other chapter Thomas was falling asleep at some point which is something I can understand happening a few times but it was so often it started to get annoying. There was also a lot of filler I didn't have a problem with that but some people might not enjoy that. I do think most of the book was fast paced, it was a little slow in some parts but it makes up for it. But in my opinion the book didn't really pick up till near the end. I still think its a good book if you enjoyed the maze runner."
"Contrived. Pointless. This book actually manages to insult its readers with the most inane and ridiculous developments known to the genre - for no apparent reason, with no justification, offering no explanation, nothing. Let's call it what it is: The author just likes to make stuff up to manipulate the reader's experience, then drop the plot like a used used condom. Yuck."
