"3.75 stars<br/><br/>My goal for the year is to start reading more from my tbr, this book being a high priority. <br/> <br/>Blakely is brilliant, strong, resilient, and wise beyond her years, while Dexter is knowledgeable and can see Blakley for who she is; she could be a complete idiot. <br/>These two had more in common than one would think. However, Blakey's childhood was horrific. <br/><br/><br/>I’m far from disappointed in the plot and storyline. It kept my attention, was original and was refreshing. A bonus was it was also very emotional. <br/><br/>As much as I enjoyed this book, I also have conflicting feelings. First is a few minor plot holes. Nothing major to take away from the journey and plot. The second was there was great potential spice, there is some, and when they finally are together, it’s steamy. But not explosive as the build-up. To me, anyway. <br/><br/>Overall it was still a great book; I would recommend"
