"This book was one of my most anticipated reads and I was so extremely happy to get into it! However, it was so utterly confusing I bailed out around page 140. I had no idea who half the characters were (regarding their status and relationships to the others), fantasy events such as the awakening were brought up a ton and yet never explained, and it was so badly developed. Don’t recommend. "

"This is one of my new favorites! It is such a good book. There is romance, fantasy, adventure, and most importantly.... more romance! The sequel is good, too. I started to read the next one cause it's a quintet, but I couldn't get into it. I might give it another stab."
