"3.5⭐
Although I struggled a bit to get into this book, it ended up being an enjoyable read. The plot was a bit slow paced at times, but it was still interesting, and I really enjoyed the writing style. I also loved how complex and realistic the main characters were. Annie and Charlotte were both such strong main characters, and their friendship was definitely a highlight for me. I enjoyed the mystery aspect of this book, but some of the plot twists were a bit predictable. Egyptian history & mythology, dual timelines, dual POV, museum setting, Met Gala, found family, sisterhood, and strong female characters! If you're a fan of historical fiction and/or Egyptian history/mythology then this book is worth checking out. Overall it was a good read, but probably not something I'll ever feel the urge to reread.
