"How romantic, after so much pain for both Tristan and Elizabeth find love again, in each other, despite the twists and turns life throws at them. This book took me forever, mainly because sometimes a girl can only take so much angst. At times this was a slow burn, at times it was 0-60 in 7 seconds and I found myself confused. Was there a HEA?? Is the end near either way? I think that Tristan’s story was written beautifully, you see his fall, his rock bottom and his growth perfectly. I think that when we meetElizabeth, she was already past that. She was already beginning to heal, in order to be the strong anchor that Tristan needed. I enjoyed it."

"3.5 star.<br/><br/>I feel as if all Cherry's characters are so relatable because she puts a little of herself into them. That is very brave for a writer. This was my second favorite book of the series which are all stand alones so no need to read in order.<br/><br/>I really wanted to give this one a higher rating because of the best friend who just made this story crazy fun. But the end kind of ruined everything for me. It was too coincidental. Everything effected and corralled all these people together and it became unrealistic. Also the dialog got pretty corny later on.<br/><br/>The first half was great though. So f*cked up but it felt right. Cherry puts a lot of emotion into her stories and also a little quirk too so you get that originality especially since she introduces her own experiences. The male had that I'm a monster and no one understands me vibe. Haha my favorite. Thought just in case you were wondering that never works out in real life. <br/><br/><br/><br/>A ****spoiler**** from the book but I had to keep it. <br/><br/><br/>“You have purple stuff on your lips, Sam,” I said as I walked into the café for my shift. He was quick to run his hands over his mouth as I watched his cheeks redden. “Thanks,” he said, lifting up a stack of plates to take back to the dish room. As he walked through the door, Faye walked out, and they did an awkward tango of who-gets-to-step-out-of-the-way-first. When Faye saw me, she shouted my way, greeting me. I smirked. “Nice purple lipstick you have on, friend.” She smiled. “Thanks! I just bought it.” “I swear I’ve seen it before.” “Nope.” She shook her head. “I just got it last night.” “No, I mean, I think I’ve seen it like, five seconds ago on Sam’s lips.” Her face flushed, and she twiddled her fingers together, rushing over to me. “Oh my gosh, sh*t! Creepy Sam wears the same lipstick as me? I need to find myself a new color.”"
