"If you really liked Night In The Woods, you’d probably relate a lot to this book. The colors set a claustrophobic mood, bea lashes out very often, and the need to cling to things past is a consistent theme. Both girls are gay, but settle into more of a mentor/mentored relationship than a sexual one- very refreshing. The subplot with the cat and the men doesn’t quite ever resolve, but I appreciate the wary ‘nope’ the women give these encounters. Well done for listening to instincts."
