The other two books where amazing though. This book gets a 4.5/10 for me but the trilogy as a whole gets 24/30 when I combine my previous rankings all together."

Helena_Phillips shared a tip "My main problem with this book is that it completely destroyed tris’s character development that she had in the last book, she finally learned that she didn’t want to die and in this book it’s like she went backwards in time. I also just didn’t like how the plot felt the same as insurgent, and we basically got a copy of Jeanine Mathews instead of more complex side characters. Overall I give it ⭐️⭐️, the best thing about this book was the last few chapters."

It was devastating, but beautiful all at the same time. I definitely want to read more by Veronica Roth because I really enjoyed her writing style in these books. 😍😍"

The switching of the perspectives seems like an odd choice cor the third book when it never occurred prior to that. The ending was rather anticlimactic compared to the first two books. I did like what they did with the zipline at the end."
