"Watching You was the ultimate study in voyeurism as each character in the neighborhood has eyes on the other. This book took me a bit to get into and I wasn’t sold on Joey, one of the main characters, being so obsessed with school headmaster Tom Fitzwilliam. There isn’t much to point in that direction other than the book plainly stating her intense obsession with no actions to completely back it up. In fact he is the compelling object of adoration amongst many girls and women but I never got a sense of what made him so uniquely great and immediately appealing to render people star-struck. I didn’t feel or more deeply intuit the lust-driven, whirlwind nature of far-gone infatuation or intoxicating attraction being present. Joey felt too sane to be headily in love if that makes sense.
This book becomes a tale revolving around who watches who, what they see, and why? Will someone catch the other in a murderous act? Only time will have the last word. All that said, I thought my favorite part was the twist because it was one I didn’t predict or see coming, which is the sign of clever, effective storytelling. Overall, as a whole, I did enjoy the intelligent concept behind this book but couldn’t fully get behind its execution. "
"Kind of an awkward story to read, but interesting enough to keep going. The twists did surprise me, and the characters got more likable as the story progressed and they grew as people. The whole topic of an man in education preying on the students, was off-putting… especially since it was all alleged and seemed to be totally made up, creating this side of Tom that you question and hate for what turns to be no reason. "
"Honestly, I did not enjoy this book. There were a lot of moving parts and different perspectives, it was hard to keep up with everyone. I got Jenna and Joey confused a lot. I also really did not enjoy the ending. I felt like Freddie and Jenna’s whole story line was a waste of time and didn’t have much to do with the ending at all. I wouldn’t recommend. "

"I am between 3-4 stars on this. I think I’d probably go a solid 3.5. This wasn’t a bad story but it took some time to really get into. This was my kindle book for reading on the go. It wasn’t gripping enough to continue reading until closer to the end.
I’m still not understanding the infatuation factor between the lead male character and all the female characters. Also I was able to narrow down the killer in the last 1/3 of the book. Was it bad, no. Was it great? Also no. Good read but maybe by British standards it was more exciting? I would read this author again"
"Pretty good! Had me guessing the whole time who did it and who even died. The ending was mind blowing! Some of the book was a bit repetitive but it was overall a good book!"
