"As someone with bipolar, I hoped this book would be representative of what living through high school was like. The story barely had any mention of bipolar besides "protagonist looks sad today" or opening the chapter with what amounts to "I'm hypomanic! Tee hee!" The most unrealistic aspect is her mood not affecting her behavior or how her days are perceived at all. This felt like a book for trauma-chasers, not written from having experience with bipolar at all."
