Since Cass travels with her parents for their ghost hunter reality show, the first book was set in Edinburgh, and this one is set in Paris. The settings are spooky and perfect for the stories that are being told. <br/><br/>I haven't read many middle grade books, but I really like these. The characters are interesting, and the stories are entertaining. They always offer some solid creepy moments, and I wish these books would have been around when I was younger. VE Schwab is amazing, and all of her series are good. Tunnel of Bones has been nominated for a GoodReads Choice Award for Middle Grade and Children's books!"
