I have loved watching him on #UglyDelicious, and his countless other appearances on several shows across the years. His story has always intrigued me, and through his story Eat a Peach he has given us such personal insight into his story. <br/><br/>While reading this book, in my mind was his voice, and his personality really shined through. Which just made me fly through the book! I have always loved David’s honesty, and how he doesn’t shy away from speaking his truths, and letting you know yours. <br/><br/>He dives deep into his life, the good, the bad, the struggles.. he talks about his mental health, as well as his struggles, frustrations within the restaurant industry, and through it all he has stayed humble, and genuine. After reading his book, I have a new sense of admiration for him, and I applaud him for putting it all out there for us to read. <br/><br/>Definitely a worth while read, a laughed a lot, smirked at the “I would have done the same thing” bits, and shed a few tears too. This book will give you a wide array of emotions, and every single one is completely worth it.<br/><br/>I’m a Los Angeles native, living in Portland, now I’m anxious to go home to be able to visit his Momofuku restaurants located there!"
