"I loved the plot. The story takes its time setting up the conflict. The characters are realistic and that’s why they are so easy to get attached to."

"I honestly didn’t enjoy this book. Main character is hated by her own people. Hated by those who should be her equal. Just hate, hate and more hatred. When it comes down to it what is the point of the book? The story line is beyond racism. The main character even dislikes herself. I found myself just skipping paragraphs just to finish the page."
