"4/5. I think Rick Riordan’s best quality is character development. Many of the characters start out being exceptionally selfish and hateful for no reason, but those same characters grow on you. Percy and Annabeth’s relationship evolves once again in fabulous ways, and Percy’s perspective on life brings a fresh feeling to the way I read. He’s exceptionally resourceful and well meaning."
