"It’s a good book. It maps the journeys with three kids, who are going through different things in different timelines. Josef, who is in the era of Nazi Germany. Isabelle, is in Cuba in 1994. And Mahmoud who is experiencing the Syrian situation. It is a positive message to inform about refugees and the experiences examples that they had to go through. Granted, there is violence, but it is for the better. It shows that these horrible events don’t always lead to a happy ending and shows the true horrors of what people had to go through during those times."
