Catrina and her family are moving to the coast of Northern California because her little sister, Maya, is sick. Cat isn't happy about leaving her friends for Bahía de la Luna, but Maya has cystic fibrosis and will benefit from the cool, salty air that blows in from the sea. As the girls explore their new home, a neighbor lets them in on a secret: there are ghosts in Bahía de la Luna. Maya is determined to meet one, but Cat wants nothing to do with them. As the time of year when ghosts reunite with their loved ones approaches, Cat must figure out how to put aside her fears for her sister's sake -- and her own.

"I loved this book. I loved the rich amount of culture and I loved the realistic problems the characters felt with.
I also love this art style."

"I've enjoyed other things from this author more. The character and plot development just had some issues.
Examples - ritual has to be said in Latin to summon the dead. But to fight them you can say a Catholic prayer - in any language. Very specific criteria there. And the dead summoned seemed at times to be intentional and others completely random.

It was an overall decent read that kept me interested; I just felt a bit let down in the end."
"ALRIGHT, back to usual Winx comic excellence.
This right here is where Musa's chara development goes hogwild in the best sense of the world.
Enter Sifelius, a musician that fell out of grace after disappearing from the musical scene. Musa meets him in search for a birthday present for her father, and so begins to learn more about him.
After the passing of his late wife, Sifelius decides to hide from the world and go into the longest pity party known to man (Jk, poor guy.) And so Musa takes on a mission to bring his wife back for a final farewell, so he can finally let go of the resentment and unsaid words to her.
It's a very moving comic, especially if you're a sap like me.
Great palate cleanser from last comic's bad sappiness."
"Interesting characters fun setting"
