"During this trilogy, the chemistry between these characters. Thomas, Newt, and Minho made me enjoy the story even more and showed a lot in this book. There were a lot of twists and turns that made the book fascinating. The problem in the book I had was a lot of secondary characters and little to no lines. Besides that, I enjoyed the ending and wanted more books from this series."
"This has to be my favorite book in the Maze Runner series."

"I've really enjoyed reading this book. The story was interesting, and really built the world its set in. I couldn't put it down for multiple reasons. The characters are well written, and really shows there development. I enjoyed the change of the setting aswell. I think this book was an amazing addition to the series!"
"Worst. One. Yet. I confess to a disgusted sort of amazement at the precision with which the author creates unwarranted and utterly pointless events with absolutely no pay-off. If you enjoy being jerked around for no apparent or good reason, you will love this trilogy. This is a particularly sad threesome because the writing itself is not bad; it is just the utter lack of intelligent plot, the insulting lack of narrative depth, and the nauseatingly contrived twists that make it truly awful. Oh, and the pathetically empty ending. *sigh*"
