Rina Kent
From USA Today bestselling author Rina Kent comes a new STANDALONE dark romance about a villain and his new obsession. I caught the attention of a monster. I didn't ask for it. Didn't even see it coming. But the moment I do, it's too late. Killian Carson is a predator wrapped in sophisticated charm. He's cold-blooded, manipulative, and savage. The worst part is that no one sees his devil side. I do. And that will cost me everything. I run, but the thing about monsters? They always chase. This book is not a conventional romance and contains themes that aren't to everyone's liking. Please check the author's note before reading.

"I got 70 pages in and got too disgusted. Genuinely the main love interest is way too insane to enjoy. I couldn’t get past the fact that he assaulted her. Like I couldn’t get past that. I’ll be reading the next book in the series because it doesn’t seem as bad this one. Rina hearts babe but I can’t get behind a NC relationship built on Stockholm syndrome"
"Starts with a sexual assault then ends with, “she wanted it.” Good if you can forget that."

"I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure you can't "feel" a girl's "hymen" with your finger.<br/><br/>We love virginity misinformation!<br/><br/>Lol, but I think I enjoyed this for the most past.<br/><br/>Were there some comically cheesy parts?<br/><br/> Yes.<br/><br/>Did they make me giggle, scoff, and roll my eyes because of how ridiculous they were? Yes.<br/><br/>Did the hero's "darkness" ring a little shallow, and I wanted to see him lose his **** completely? Yes.<br/><br/>But the good kinda outnumbered the bad for me in this one.<br/><br/>The vibes were there...<br/><br/>I do enjoy Rina's writing, though. I remember thoroughly enjoying her Deception trilogy, so... Yeah.<br/><br/>One downside were the millions of characters, lol.<br/><br/>I felt like there was a sequel I was missing, and it turns out, I was missing dozens lol, because all the characters that appeared in this had their own books lmao.<br/><br/>Now I am going on a Rina Kent binge.<br/><br/>Wish me luck!"
"Sadly I DFNed… some parts just didn’t feel “real” to me. I’m all for dark **** but it just didn’t hit right and enjoyable for me. Wish I could’ve pushed through but it is still sitting book marked maybe one day I’ll get back to it"

"<strong>bully romance with a twist</strong><br/><br/>I enjoyed this bully romance for the most part. I did find that Glyndon drove me crazy alittle. She was always searching for a reason to run from Killian. The story started to get a little stale around 70-75% pick up at little near the end. If you enjoy epilogues there are like four in this book. We also get POV from the first generation, Reina, Asher, Levi and Astrid. For this I loved it."
