"i had many mixed feelings about this one. it was highly predictable & i did not like scottie whatsoever. irene was lovely though. also i guess it was supposed to be funny but it was very unfunny & scottie’s attempts annoyed me :( i also feel like the towing thing was way too coincidental, & tally was super toxic to the point that i did not understand scottie’s hurt over her. it was just ok. ⭐️1/5⭐️ from me, i’m not sure if this is worth a read. if irene narrating i would’ve liked it a lot better. finished 1/1/22"

"A very fun kind of opposites attract, enemies,/rivals to lovers, and such a good view on more of a realistic romance, though there’s still so much of the romance novel vibes. Kind of like Jane the Virgin but romance novels."
