"This book is just... fine. Typical overbearing mother, typical terrifying teenage girls across America of sleeping with their boyfriends. Can't help but feel like this book contributed to the stigma that losing your virginity to anyone but the "right person" = losing an important aspect of your self worth. At least the pregnant girl had a happy ending, and the concept of teen pregnancy was neither stigmatized nor romanticized."
"This was actually the first Sarah Dessen book I enjoyed. I typically can not stand her one-dimensional characters and basic plot lines. There were lots of things I didn't like in the book, of course. I never felt Halley and her mother's relationship was ever resolved. I also don't understand how you can have a main character become a complete secondary character. I think she would of had a better time writing in Scarlett's point of view with little tidbits of Halley's life."
"<strong>Noah and Grace are perfect for each other.</strong><br/><br/>I loved this book because Noah only has one concern and that's his daughter Lily. He's an ex Seal and is good with wood and his hands. He meets Grace remodeling her apartment. They start off no strings because of who her family is but soon enough feelings start to blossom. Noah is everything Grace never knew she wanted or needed and Grace is just what Noah needed in a partner. Such a sweet HEA."
