"Britney telling her story is great I’m glad she can speak out about things and the book was a great read it took me by surprise I never knew much about her life, but this book really told us what she was going through and its sad for her to have went through all that, but I’m glad she is doing better now and has her freedom from the abuse she dealt with. "Great book by Britney Spears. Telling her side of the story and all the misunderstandings that were created by the paparazzi, family and her partners. I was never a fan or anti fan but I always thought that the way they were treating her was just so unfair and even mean. Plain evil in some instances. I remember seeing the VMAs and what Sarah Silverman said was just mean. The way JT manipulated the whole cheating was very sly of him. Kevin was just evil as well as the family of Britney. Injustices were made and I am glad she came forward and told her side. She kept quiet but not anymore. "
"Bless her heart. What a raw and searingly honest book. She poured her all into this and it just breaks your heart to hear what was going on behind the scenes and all that she had to endure. I listened to the audiobook and she did the forward. Highly recommend. I’m not a massive fan but we are the same age and I grew up listening to her in high school and college and of course heard all the stories."
"I’m a 90s baby. I loved Britney growing up and it’s been wild to see her life play out in the media. It was cool to read her side of the story and gain a deeper understanding of what she was going through during those hard times and how she has been wronged and stories twisted. I read this in an afternoon. It was easy to read. "
"As I read this memoir, I saw echos of myself in Britney. The Lithium and blood tests, thrown away notebooks full of songs and poems, the sibling who turns a blind eye- hit close to home. But I don't think anyone could fully empathize with what this woman has gone through. This book is both heart wrenching and hopeful- I truly wish the best for her in anything she decides to do in the future. "
"Britney’s been through so much, and I definitely agree that she needed to write this not only for herself and her wellbeing but for others too. I feel like some parts were a little immature, and the way that she name dropped made me feel like she was a little too happy to play vindictive woman scorned, but at least we know a little more about the way the conservatorship affected her and everything that went on behind closed doors."
"This book was heartbreaking to read. As a medical professional, I can't believe nobody called out the situation early on. I do understand that this is just her perspective so we're missing everyone else's view, however, I idolized her as a child and I'm saddened by her journey. The book is simply written and repeats ideas often, but it's not a hard read."

"3.5 | I wrapped up my summer reading with two biographies, one right after the other. Spears’ biography shed some much needed light on her conservatorship and gave me some wonderful background on her life/beliefs. I closed the book knowing so much more about Spears and wishing her all the best. The nitty gritty: the writing was at best OK, but you can really hear Spears’ voice in the pages. Knocking down 1.5 stars simply because of how it was written, everything else was great! "
