Sean Mythos Dallas: The popular answer is the Kennedy Assassination, but my favorite is probably Bonnie and Clyde.

Sean Mythos The torch must have been really cool! On its way to… Vancouver, if I can guess?

Suzanne (she/her) My hometown was spotlighted on the podcast Small Town Murder (Ep 130) for a pretty horrific slaughtering at a local taco joint. And we also had our own caped "super hero" from 1999 until his passing earlier this year... he was a guest on Dr. Drew's Lifechangers episode and is featured on Ripley's Believe It or Not.

Ian Schlechter In high school, a heroin outbreak came through, this was 10 years ago, and three kids from my school got addicted and died shortly after graduation. The cops are still unable to find the dealer, but the traffic is getting heavier.

Zoe Brookshire I’m sure there are crazier things that have happened but our current county mayor is a former WWE wrestler

Pamela D This is crazy…my Grandfather found a 30 foot “Sea Monster” washed up on the Beach in 1970. The New England Aquarium came down from Boston & Scientists from Woods Hole came to check it out. They never could figure out what it was! They said it was a rotting “Basking Shark” but they don’t get that big. As a 4th Grader I thought it was the WILDEST thing ever. So proud to tell everyone that MY Grandfather found it. 🙌

Darlene Manley I live in the DC area so there’s a lot to choose from. However, the DC Sniper murder spree was a very disturbing and crazy time.

Danielle Henry Currently in Bloomington, Normal, IL, a graduate student went missing and was later found drowned, his car parked in a random place. No leads on why he was there, so far away from where he lives. Not a suicide. His mother is calling for the FBI to get involved bc my hometown police may have bungled it and at the very least, did not bring the level of attention that a missing white male would have gotten.

We also had a team of spidermans walk around town (tgey were pretty cool though and fun prob high school kiddos) they walked around as a group and pretended as if they were lost)
