WOO Chapter 20 was ROUGH. I've only cried reading a book twice. I cried reading The Book Thief, and I cried reading chapter 20 of this book just now. Phew. Anyone else reading/read this? If not, what other books have made you cry, if any?

Rose Mattax No but it sounds like a great follow up book to Moth, about India during the partition period. I'll get my hanky ready for chapter 20!

Marie J Ervin I agree with The Book Thief, but I also shed tears reading Signal Fires by Dani Shapiro and The Yellow Wife (both posted on my page)

Marie J Ervin Thanks for the compliment. I read/have read all across the spectrum of books and even occasionally enjoy a romance and young adult. Probably my main preference is historical fiction, suspense and thrillers

Cael Y'all, I lied, I forgot that I cried reading The Outsiders.

Jazzlynn Minette Cruel Beauty made me cry, it’s a retelling of Beauty and the Beast but for some reason I cried even with a HEA
