I NEED to discuss Bridgerton season 3 with people. What did you like? Did you not like? How did you feel this was different or the same than the previous season. All and every thought you have on part 1 I'd like to talk about: ) #bridgerton #bridgerton_series #netflix #romance

Ruth I actually didn't love this season. I feel like maybe the acting was too awkward and it didn't feel natural not like the previous seasons felt. The pacing is also really weird. Like they have barely any interaction and then suddenly things speed up and it feels too slow and too fast at the same time. Also Colin is not up to par with Anthony and Simon. I know he's supposed to be all charming now but it feels very forced and honestly weird. I was getting kind of bored by the beginning of the 4th episode to be honest although it definitely redeemed itself. But probably going to be my least favorite season yet.

Esmeralda Marte I agree I felt like it was rushed and we didn’t really get what we got on the previous seasons. They could have added flashbacks of them as children when they were friends to make it better. And he confessed his feelings too fast for me too. In the previous seasons we had to wait and long for it and now it’s in episode 4. I feel like that was also the cause of breaking it into 2 parts because they wanted a cliffhanger so bad and rushed things.

Linda Kelly @R.A.D. I do agree they seemed to want to cover all these other characters that were not that interesting. If I never saw another story about Penelope two sisters ugh. I always thinknn be of them as like Cinderella’s step sisters lol. If they were created differently well then I would care but….they weren’t. I do the no in the end it will be Penelope who has the baby boy, the heir.

Ruth More things in case anyone cares. The music for this season was not at all up to par with the previous seasons. The timing of the music and the pacing of it was really off. Another thing is that they threw in too many storyline at once. This feels a lot like Francescas season more than Colin's and I'm pretty sure we see her interacting with her suitors more than we see Polin interacting. Also they keep adding random side plots like with Violet and Danburys brother like what was that. Also they keep on shoving Mr. Monrich in out faces like who even is that. I would like if there was multiple storyline if we also saw more interactions between siblings like in season one cuz that was cute. There's no chemistry between anyone with anyone this season except with Pen and Lord Debling. I didn't necessarily want her to end up with him but honestly at least there was some chemistry there. We see her a lot more with Debling than we see her with Colin and for someone that she isn't going to end up with and isn't important it's very weird that he has more screen time with her than Colin. Colin doesn't seem mature enough for this and honestly neither does Pen and they have completely different personalities than last seasons.

Kari McLennan Honestly, I can’t stop thinking about it! That last scene in the carriage- oh my! I’ve liked all 3 seasons and I really like Penelope. I am so nervous for her to be found out though! How can she move forward with Colin without him telling him and then would he leave her? Also, interesting that they have two autistic characters now.

Linda Kelly Overall I love the Penelope and Colin story. I feel Colin always liked Penelope but because others didn’t approve of it he was seeing her through their eyes, a people pleaser just like his mother said. And I do think mom is aware he cares for Penelope. Of course the whistledown story is going to throw a monkey wrench into it. They didn’t seem to know what to do with Elouise this season, are they trying to develop Cressida? If not why show her so much? I loved season 1. Didn’t like season 2 due to writing and so far enjoying season 3.
