Topic: These Violent Delights
Could a mature 14 year old read this? I loved it and I know it has no sexual inappropriate thing to my knowledge but I don’t remember much about the language or violence. She has read Percy Jackson, The Wingfeather saga, the maze runner, the hunger games, and Harry Potter. She can watch anything pg-13 as well. If the violence is like those things or pg-13 movies than she’s good. I want your alls opinions.

Elise Cannon Hmm I don’t know. Maybe she could, but it depends on how she’d handle it, being only 14. If you think she can handle it, then let her read it. lol it seems like a good book to me lol

kim warner I think she would be okay. I read it two years ago and it’s a duology and both books have mild violence but nothing too rough that I can remember. Maybe you should read it first to be safe but I think she’s fine.

Sarah Ortinau The bug things that everyone would try to rip out of their own bodies really freaked me out…if she can handle that she should be fine

Sarah Ortinau I’ve always been freaked out about bugs climbing under my skin and parasites. Watching the scene from The Mummy where the scarab beetle is under someone’s skin was waaaayyy too creepy for me, but I’m scared of literary everything and I’m pretty sure I’m being haunted.
