Erica said Heartbreaking but heroic story that will leave you grateful for the life you live even on your worst days. The book, at times, can be a difficult read but I applaud Jaycee Dugard for telling her story as it happened. Pure bravery!

Erica said The book was phenomenal. The move was a let down. Like they say, the book is always better than the movie. I could not pick this book down. I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish. This book constantly kept the reader enthralled in the book.

Erica said As I was reading this, I felt like I was becoming apart of the Presley family. Elvis and Priscilla lived such an interesting, always changing life. My heart broke for Priscilla. I respect her even more now after finishing this book.

Erica said I have never felt more apart of the story than reading this. King has a way of writing that keeps the reader wanting more while still being almost to terrified to turn the page. I physically felt upset and disturbed reading this. Every thing was described to the point of feeling like I was lost in the woods with Trisha. 10/10

Erica said I may be slightly late to the party reading this in 2022, but this book quickly made by top 10 list. I did not know who's side to be on. I did not know who was telling the truth. From the first page to the last I was fully entertained!

Erica said This book spoke numbers for victims of DA. Although I found the book to be slightly over hyped. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. As a victim of DA, I felt a connection with the main character. The books ending really tied everything together making this a great read.
