It was nominated for 7 academy awards in 1994 but walked away with none, losing the best picture award to Forrest Gump. It's a damn shame that this movie didn't get the recognition that it deserved when it was first released.
Now it is a beloved film by all who have seen it. 10/10"

"This came out when I was 12 and therefore not on the top of my list of movies to see. It is a movie that I’m embarrassed that I have not seen now that I’m 40 so finally sat down and watched it with my husband. So impressed! Excellent storyline, excellent cast, an ending that is iconic. And I had no idea it was based on a Stephen King book! Highly recommend and now I know why it’s on so many must see, highly awarded lists😁"
