"I grew up watching The Gong Show and loved Chuck Barris. When I read this book it blew my mind. It’s a wild story whether you believe it or not. George Clooney did an admirable job with the film and Sam Rockwell is just plain brilliant as Chuck. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea but if you grew up watching his shows, you’ve got to read the book or watch the movie or both. "
