"Daphne reminds me of myself in so many dysfunctional ways, although she's much less insane. She's so calm through all her dramas while I'm a complete wreck, and I always seemed to thrive in the chaos I created, but I hit rock bottom too many times to count. I thank God for giving me the incredible gift of my daughter. I raised her as a single parent and was finally at peace, giving the only person in the world I needed to shower my love upon. No man can ever compare to the love a mother has for her child. If a mother truly loves her child, she finds strength she never knew she possessed. Thank you, Jayde. I love you, baby girl.
Read my comment below for my thoughts on the movie. This is just my on the spot takeaway, having just finished it moments ago."
"Love this movie. Fields/Daphne by Philip Ekscröm is the song that I think of the most for Endings, Beginnings. It reminds me of open fields. It’s also what we hear first in the main trailer. "

"This movie was great. It has a feel good vibe through most of it with twinges of sadness in the perfect moments.I might buy a DVD of it so I can watch it years from now once its no longer streaming online. TW: drug use, sexual assault, depression. "
