"I'm sorry if you were snowed by this movie due to it's awesome classic rock soundtrack glazed with the employment of everything every film has ever used to evoke that 'heartwarming' sensation we all know and love. I understand why. Unfortunately, in the end this is just Christian propaganda, designed to trick people into thinking and feeling like this rubbish is the truth. Yes, in real life there was a real hippie-esque person, and he loved Jesus. The end. Nothing else in this story is true. In reality, this hippie preached evangelical horse sh*t and condemned gay people. Unfortunately he himself was gay, and could not come out because of the aforementioned horse sh*t. I do not appreciate the media bleaching the actual story to fit their disgusting religious narrative in an attempt to low key spread their garbage beliefs by way of feel-good fantasy acceptance. If you disagree, feel free to do some research. I'd love to hear more facts "
