"Cut and paste movie, blackmail CIA, an outlasted exmember called in, a guy with a grudge who was in friend of the outlasted member, yadda yadda yadda the day was saved. It is not bad but it's not wow, I wouldn't watch again. If you like main actor, watch for fun. Enjoy

"I love Aaron Eckhart and enjoy watching Nina Dobrev since her Degrassi days. Unfortunately this isn't either of their bests. The plot wasn't great but the worst thing about it was just how much of a hindrance Nina's character was. They would have had a much better movie had they made her character less incompetent and useless. She comes through a couple times but basically she was cringe-worthy. Not a woman worth aspiring to be. That's all in the writing though. Nina just did what she was told, I'm sure.
The movie mainly takes place in Greece. It's your basic ex-agent disillusioned by the CIA but ends up helping them with a mission from his past that has come back to life, so to speak. The direction wasn't very good but there were a couple of pretty good fighting scenes, with one being very John Wick-esque. The ending was quite cliche and fairly uninteresting.
The whole bricklayer thing was such a weird angle, like they were trying to take an unoriginal plot and make it original. Didn't work. And an early scene where Aaron shows up someplace with his bricklaying tool bag was just silly. A guy asks who he is and he says in a tough voice, "I'm the bricklayer" as though he's there to do some dirty work like hide a body in some brickwork or something. But no, he's just there to do a regular bricklayer job. Nothing nefarious. Basically they just tried too hard and came up short.

"For the love of god, don’t waste time out of your life to watch this movie. Basic spy thriller that’s been done plenty of times. Nina Dobrov character is legit ridiculous. How in thee hell did she get a CIA job? Someone please explain this to me! I didn’t even make it thro half the movie and couldn’t take it any longer. "
"This was a pretty standard secret agent/spy movie. The disgruntled retired agent called back in to deal with a man he had a relationship with. Teamed up with a female agent with little field experience. The plot itself is a bit clumsy with a very obvious twist. The performances were fine and they were all committed but they take themselves a bit too seriously. It really could have used more humor. The action is OK but we have come a long way since the days of guys standing around waiting to get hit. It's not bad but a similar style movie in The Beekeeper is much better. You can take or leave this one. Please check out my podcast Mostly Low Budget Reviews with Clarence for a full break down. On all streaming platforms. Link is in the bio. Thank you!"
"Very poor movie. Almost nothing good or well done. Zero star and pass."
