"A great classic"

"This movie is a true classic. Annie the story, movie, broadway musical, high school production, whatever has managed to ensnare hearts for generations, and this is them finally putting it into the more universal outcome of a movie. And they made it worth your time. Not only are the songs strong and have true backing, but the dancing that goes on around them is so captivating half the time. Then, the characters are fleshed out, from attitude, persona, actors/actresses, & even their outfits. It all is trying to portray that character to you better. Tim Curry also plays his first ever role as a musical villain is in this movie too, which is great.
Now they don't copy the musical moment for moment. They expand the story to make it more fun to watch. Plus, due to it being a movie they glorified movies for an entire scene and song number. It takes your breathe away while uplifting movies themselves. It worked well since I'm pretty sure that musical number is why I became captivated with watching movies. Possibly helped others want to watch movies too.
I adore the subplots they dreamt up as well. My favorite part is Annie's first night there. I won't say too much about it, but I love action and seeing how the characters clash (mostly Sandy and Warbucks) then come to an understanding is interesting. There are other tiny moments like that throughout that endear the characters as well as their relationships with each other. It's something a musical wouldn't have time to do yet this movie accomplishes.
I know Musical fans do get frustrated with this movie but it made the story more attainable to so many out there, including my child self who had no interest in broadway but adored this movie.
As mentioned before I like action, so this movies climax really hit home and kept me on the edge of my seat. It's great in so many ways. From sheer size to the spectacle it is, it forces you to pay attention.
In the end, a great movie that truly is a classic in many ways."
"This was a sweet movie about a lively little girl finding a home with a man who might be rich, but needed more in his lonely life. Really #wholesome , with a bonus of Carol Burnett comedic interpretation as Miss Hannigan. The #music and #singing are catchy, with visuals galore to grab your attention. My only complaint concerns a couple of plot holes, but overall a #fun #family_friendly film with a little something for everyone to enjoy. #orphanage #feelgood #drama #family"
