"Arrival is much more than a typical science fiction tale. It dives deep into topics of communication, grief, choice, and the human experience, all set against the backdrop of a first-contact narrative. There isn't a ton of action, it is more of a thought provoking story, but well done. 7/10"

I didn't understand the first time viewing, this is my second time watching and understand a lot more. Nice sci-fi movie that is quite grounding to watch and see what unfolds through the eyes of Amy Adams character."

"Great movie to prove to your folks that not all great sci-fi movies have ultra-violence in them and what not. And of course it's a beautiful movie, its directed by Denis Villeneuve, who is behind the new Dune movies. Also Amy Adams shines as the lead. Highly recommended."
