"Taking place after the events Chapter 3, John Wick takes on his next challenge as he travels the world to find the peace he had at the start of all this pain. Worth watching as he takes on the High Table and those who wish to gain its favor, though they may not live to regret it as Baba Yaga is the legendary assassin to not cross paths with!"
"I just realized that each John Wick movie is longer than the last, with this one having the longest runtime of the series. That's not necessarily a bad thing because this movie is chock full of over the top, ridiculous, death defying action throughout.
I enjoyed Mr Nobody (Shamier Anderson, who is billed as Tracker) but felt like his trained attack dog was a rip-off of Halle Berry's character in the last movie. Cool dog though.
Donnie Yen's character, Caine, the blind assassin is just a bit too much to be believable. Matching John Wick blow for blow, and shot for shot? C'mon! It was cool to see Scott Adkins get a role, and he's almost unrecognizable but a great addition. I enjoyed this final movie, just not as much as the others. 8.5/10"
"Absolutely fantastic. The best since the original and maybe best in the series. You know you’re going to get certain things from these movies. The best fight scenes, the best stunts, the best action cinematography and directing, paying homage to all the action stars that came before, some crazy EDM, a huge body count, a wink at other cool movies, like The Warriors, and the funnest time. I can’t believe there’s going to be a 5. How can they top this? Plus, Keanu is 58, Donnie Yen is 60. I don’t want to downplay stunt workers but it’s obvious it’s them in a lot of scenes and I just find it unbelievable. I made a big deal about Tom Cruise taking the action star heavyweight belt after the last MI, which was absolutely fantastic, but Keanu still owns it after this. I’m just glad I can watch em battle it out, for however much longer they can. "
"Cant wait for the Netflix spin-off series ‘John Wick in Paris’! This movie has without a doubt, the best action sequences and most interesting set pieces I’ve ever seen. The choreography and stunt teams are incredible. There’s one scene where a bad guy falls down an escalator and I honestly can’t believe the stuntman didn’t break his neck. The amount of action packed into the 2 hour 49 minute runtime is unmatched. It feels like they took the best moments of 10 different movies shoved all of them into one. Although it did feel a bit too long (and slow at times), the film makes up for it with it’s insanely entertaining and awe-inspiring action. No, it’s not realistic at all. You REALLY have to be willing to suspend disbelief. But who cares? We’re all there to see John Wick be an invincible badass. "
"If you are looking for a highly enjoyable dive into a deluge of fight choreography and highly aesthetically pleasing cinematography, look no further! However if you are looking for anything intellectual, thought provoking, or that has a narrative, I would set this one on the back burner. I loved all of the other Wick films, and this is a lot like those. Well-done for sure, and increasingly insane. From me this is a compliment lol."
"The action was good! I was disappointed by the ending, but it was expected I just wonder whats gonna happen now with the franchise. "
