"Julie is a big fan of Julia Child. She begins cooking her recipes over a years time while blogging about the experience. It's quite a ride. Meanwhile we also get to see how Julia started her cooking career and her relationship with her beloved husband. Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci are just lovely in this as Julia and her husband Paul. Recommended. "

I have rewatched it but it’s not exactly a favorite. Closer to perhaps background noise or something to not get caught up in. Simple but it had Meryl Streep, the acting was good, and it had that sort of that goal of heartiness, so 4/5"

"One of the sweetest, most heart warming and genuinely well made movie I have seen yet. Although you may at first be deterred by a simple-sounding plot, I found this movie very worthwhile. The performances are amazing, as is the plot, which kept me entertained and hooked the entire time. The dialogue is very well done, giving the movie a well balanced sense of comfort and humor. A family friendly, quirky favorite that will go nicely with a well prepared dinner (you will get hungry during this!)"
