"Sick has the opportunity of being one of the first, if not the first, slasher flicks to lean all the way into a time where we watched the world stop. Although Covid isn’t completely over we all remember this specific era of time when it was fear and uncertainty. April 2020 is a memory most of us will keep with us. I honestly thought this would be a super cheesy film but this director knew exactly what he was trying to accomplish. I’m not saying it’s perfect or it doesn’t regurgitate rinse and repeat horror sub plots. But as the film progresses it seems to get better. I really felt a major essence of Scream. Which isn’t surprising because Scream writer Kevin Williamson is apart of this project. Like most horror films they start off early making dumb decisions. Some of the things these killers do is laughable. There is once scene where the killer might as well be a aquatic animal given his ability underwater lol. I still found the film to be a fairly structured game of cat and mouse. All together just a fun watch for horror fans."

I didn’t really care about the main characters & the ppl i did care about & would have liked to see live , didnt lol. The covid subplot was weak & it started to drag during second 1/2.
