"I didn't expect to like this one as much as I did. I think George did a great job being an old, dying, drunk scientist. I liked the ending but I must admit, it felt bleak. SPOILER AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do you repopulate an entire species without having relations with your child/sibling?"
"Iโm a sucker space sci-fi films. Unfortunately, this one feels like a compilation of space and doomsday earth-type films preceding it. Formulaic comes to mind. Its not a โbadโ film. And, if youโre a fan of these types of films like I am it could be worth a watch. But, overall, I was disappointed. "
"It's just fine. The movie is very pretty, except where the virtual production peeks through. The omission of details is definitely an artistic choice, but one that makes the experience shallow. I predicted the final "twist" about 10 minutes into the movie. The writer for this movie clearly didn't understand the importance of the frozen embryos in Interstellar, or what a Minimum Viable Population is. There's no point to a single couple surviving extinction just to die out a generation later. Meh"
