"My favorite movie of all time. I read all of the books as a child and collected memorabilia for a long time. I've probably seen this a few hundred times. That includes seeing it on the big screen during revival campaigns and festivals for classic movies. I watched it yearly with my Mom when I was a kid, before cable TV was a thing. It's classic fantasy at its purist. ⭐⭐⭐⭐(every star in the sky) "

"Not a fan of this one, the movie hasn't aged all that well and all of the abhorrent stuff that happened to nearly every cast member makes watching it unenjoyable. Tin man hospitalized for aluminum inhalation, Dorothy was drugged daily against her will, the witch literally caught fire and the munchkins were treated as lesser beings. "

"My very first favorite movie ever. I watched it so often when I was growing up that my dad's friends threatened to never come back if I wouldn't stop. They legit bought me headphones that plugged into our TV, so I could still watch it several times a day, but no one would be forced to hear about going off to see the wizard ever again. This is all true. For me, "classic" doesn't even begin to describe this film. Still makes me endlessly happy to this day. And sorry not sorry but I'll never stop singing those songs 💁‍♀️"
