It was interesting being inside the mind of the captive instead of the mind of the abductor. Seeing the things missed from her home and at the same time the little hint of resentment she had towards one of her friends. It was also interesting how the author never referred to him as his name but by you. It was a sense of not acknowledging his power in my eyes. Stolen also gave me chills toward the end. I was praying for her but yelling at her the whole time for her safety but also to just submit cause I didn’t want her to die. It’s one of those books that has you one the edge of your seat. But overall a great read. 5/5.
