I read this before I had any kids, and remember it being incredible. However, I am going to go back and re-read this now that I have children.

Heart wrenching, but hard to put down.

Had me in tears. Beautifully written with raw answers. This brings a voice to the demons in our head that can turn into something horrific.

This book is a must read. Ellie Wiesel is a survivor of the Holocaust and the narrative is from a child's perspective living through, enduring, and overcoming this tragic time in our history. It wasn't gruesome, but gave enough imagery to understand the pain he was going through. If my kids don't read this in school, I'm for sure going to be reading this with them when they are in middle school/high school.
