I did enjoy the book. An easy one day read. But the plot is rushed, characters rapidly developed, and a little too **** heavy for my liking. Great concept, just wished it was more developed. I probably will purchase the books once they’re on a sale. I’d like to see where the relationship goes according to this author. But it wasn’t captivating enough for me to feel the need to immediately buy the series. A good quick read though.

The heartbreaks I encountered in the last book were soothed, and ripped open again. The way Armentrout writes her characters is stunning. She manages to capture their individual spirit and have me experience every emotion there is. The plot twists and turns and changes so rapidly, yet I’m not lost to confusion. This is one of the most delightful reads I’ve had in years.

I knew this book had been well hyped up, and was worried it wouldn’t live up to the expectations. I was sorely mistaken. This book was absolutely riveting. I tore through it within two days. Immediately purchased the next two before I hit the last chapter. And was devastated to find the fourth will be published next year, March ‘22. The story is riveting. While some may not enjoy the terminology, locations, and characters being thrown into the story immediately, I loved it. Pick it up!

A favorite of mine since I was a child. I still pick it up frequently. The way it is written was unlike any book I had seen before, even to this day I’ve yet to find something like it. The story is riveting and brings back tales of Lancelot in a fresh way. It’s a lovely love story, and delightful to relax with.
