It explores an interesting alternative version of a dystopian society, in that it's really a utopia, but did we ever really want that? It explores the issues that come with curing human mortality, and an interesting solution that might have been chosen. My only gripe is the ending, which felt a bit rushed, and didn't satisfactorily conclude the story.
