4/5: My first DC comic that l've read. It's perfect for readers who want to start reading Batman comics and already know the basics of Batman and the Bat-family. I loved Alfred's sarcastic remarks in this!

3/5: Kai x Lily fans were finally fed, Jett x Lily fans were deprived...The spicy levels were a 2/5, the scene w Kai, Lily & the printer was amazing tho. Overall the book was okay, was left on a disappointing cliffhanger. We’ll see how things unravel in the next book. :,)

3/5: It wasn't that bad, I feel like things are still unraveling in the series plotline. It felt more like a Nox x Lily x Ruin than a full reverse harem with the rest of the guys (Kai & Jett). I hope that changes in the rest of the series books. The spicy scene could have been WAY better, I'll give it a 1/5 on the spicy scale. I am extremely curious about the plot though so I'll continue to push on through the series.

2/5: This is a MxM book with a enemies to lovers trope. The characters John Rikker and Michael Graham are both attending Harkness College and are on the hockey team with Rikker transferring from another school due to being outed as gay and kicked off of his old team. Graham and Rikker had a close friendship in the past when they were about 16 but an incident led to it falling apart. I think I really would have enjoyed this book if it hadn't took Rikker and Graham so long to get together and clear things up. I'm pretty sure 85% of the book was Graham dealing with his internilized homophobia and fears of being caught and outed. In fact, at the end of the book Graham doesn't even come out to his team mates and confirm that he‘s dating Rikker. I was really hoping that Graham would stand up for Rikker at some point in the book but he didn't and that made me really mad. I also thought that the friendships Rikker and Graham had with other characters such as Bella and Skippy we're weird. I was disappointed by this book and felt as if Graham and Rikkers story was rushed. The book ends on an abrupt and unexpected ending, it sort of feels unfinished and there is a lot more that needs to be said and done by the characters (mostly Graham) but we don't get that.

4/5: Some TW’s before reading this book-Swears, domestic abuse, violence, gore. From the first chapter this memoir was captivating with never a dull or boring chapter. Trevor Noah is a South African comedian who grew up during the years of apartheid where being a colored kid to black and white parents was considered a crime. Although some of the stories told in this book may seem traumatic to others Trevor Noah expresses these memories from childhood with humor and tries to make readers laugh despite the seriousness of these situations. Great book, easy read. Recommend for 14 and up. Altogether I enjoyed this book and looked forward to each chapter and often wondered what story the next chapter would bring and its surprises.

3/5: A cute office romance/coworkers with benefits? Easy read. Loved how the chapters were short so if you don't have a lot of time on your hands or hate books with long chapters this ones for you. The books pretty fluffy and cute but there are **** scenes but they're very vague. I lowkey wanted to see the offices reaction to Dani (FL) and Wyatt (ML) being together at the end but we didn't get to see that :(

4/5: This book was definitely a slow burn with the romance as a subplot. I was kind of irritated with the lack of communication between Alosa (FL) and Riden (ML) but towards the end of the book, I'd say it's worth it. I loved Roslyn, Wallov's daughter (side characters) and I won't spoil anything but chapter 21 nearly gave me a heart attack. I will say though that I am not entirely satisfied with the series ending and it feels as though I've been left on another cliffhanger, I am satisfied enough. I can't wait for the 'Vengeance Of The Pirate Queen' where the book will still take place around the setting of the DOTPK series but will evolve around Kearan and Sorinda's story of love and adventure.

3.5/5: This book definitely captures the reader's attention right from chapter 1. I loved Alosa's (FL) and Riden's (ML) undeniable attraction toward each other and their bantering. Although some details are left out in this book, book 2 'Daughter Of The Siren Queen' picks up on the details and tells you more about things. The one thing I disliked about 'DOTPK' was the cliffhanger that the end of the book left. When I read the last chapter I was like "Wait that's it? Where's the rest of it?" but I guess that's the effect the author wanted. It was very unsatisfying until I got my hands on the 2nd book. Overall great book to fly through and an easy read, I finished this book in 2 days. :)

4.5/5: This book had me hooked from the start. It's a cute college hockey romance book about Corey Callahan (FL) and Adam Hartley (ML) who are both paraplegics/have trouble with walking. Does have dual pov. I would have gave this book a 5-star rating if it wasn't for Stacia, Hartley’s girlfriend in the beginning of the book. I honestly hate when the ML cheats on his gf with the FL even if the gf was an asshole or smth. Like cmon ML don't stoop down to cheating. 🙁
